Coaching Fees (please refer to the Sleep Coaching page for further details of each package)
Expectant Parent or Newborn Right Start: $245 An in-home meeting, approximately 1 1/2 hours, during which we will talk about how to begin gently shaping the night and naptime sleep of your newborn; how to begin teaching self-soothing techniques; how to relax and enjoy your baby while learning to trust your own instincts; how to set up an appropriate sleep environment in your home; common sleep myths; infant cryings, and comparisons on the many sleep coaching styles. Two follow up calls or emails are included.
Gentle Sleep Coaching Consultation: $295 (when purchased seperately - see below for package plan)
Prior to this in-home consultation (approximately 1 1/2 hours), I will prepare by reading and assessing all the information, concerns, and questions that you have sent me in your completed Client History Form. During our meeting we will discuss basic sleep information (as described above for the Right Start Consultation), work together towards understanding the issues that are disrupting your child's sleep as well as your goals, and create a clear, detailed, and gentle daily plan.
Combined Consultation and Follow-Up Calls Package: $485 Following the first few nights that you implement your new Sleep Plan, we will have a 15 or 20 minute phone conversation so we can review the events of the previous night, and make any needed adjustments. The remaining calls/emails can be spaced over the next few weeks, giving you continued support while your child's sleep patterns change and improve. The 8 calls/emails usually give you 2-3 weeks of support.
This package is highly recommended and most effective, giving you the greatest chance of long-term success while you implement your plan and gently change the pattern of your child’s sleep. Further Support: An Additional Package of 4 Follow-Up Calls/Emails $120 (as needed after the original 8 calls/emails have been used)
The amount of support that you need will depend on the age of your child and the type of sleep disturbances he is experiencing. It may be useful to you to continue support, especially for toddlers, or just for the reassurance of having someone to talk with while you continue to work toward your goals. Also, once the Sleep Coaching process is completed, you may find your child has occasional sleep challenges, such as illness, starting school, travel, or the birth of a sibling. This additional support will help you cope with these challenges or setbacks.
Method of Payment Payment is due prior to the beginning of the sleep coaching or sleep shaping, to confirm the scheduled consultation. Right Start Consultation: payment will confirm the appointment Sleep Coaching: payment will confirm the appointment and then you will be sent the Client History Form to complete and return prior to the appointment.
